Parties to the Agreement: This Agreement is entered into between you and Shenzhen Zhixin Chuangzhi Technology Co., Ltd. (conducting business under the name "Zicalstar", hereinafter referred to as "Zicalstar" or "we").
Scope of Application: This Policy applies to your use of the digital platforms owned, controlled, or operated by Zicalstar (including but not limited to thewebsite (https://www.zicalstar.com/) and related applications, collectively referred to as the "Website"), as well as the products (such as calendars, hardware devices, etc.) and services (such as basic function services, premium membership services, etc., collectively referred to as "Products and/or Services") provided by Zicalstar. It also applies to all your relevant activities, including calling API interfaces through the platform, using applications, and using smart calendars.
Voluntarily Provided Data: Information that users voluntarily submit by filling out forms, providing third-party account passwords (e.g., for calendar synchronization),etc. (such as registration information, inquiry content, and third-party account passwords required for authorized synchronization).
Automatically Collected Data: Information automatically obtained by the system when users access, use, or interact with the Services (e.g., device operation data).
Required Information: Basic conditions for using the Services (e.g., registration information) and necessary information for realizing specific functions (e.g., third-party account passwords required for calendar synchronization). Failure to provide such information will prevent the normal use of core functions or corresponding specific functions.
Voluntary Information: Information that users can choose to provide or not. Not providing it will not affect the use of basic Services but may restrict some additional functions.
Purposes of Use:
Basic Operations: Provide, monitor, and maintain the Services (including the calendar synchronization function), manage user communications, and respond to inquiries.
Communication and Promotion: Send information related to Products/Services (prior user consent is required).
Optimization and Improvement: Analyze user trends and preferences for service upgrades and new product development.
Security Assurance: Investigate illegal activities and prevent risks.
Storage and Transmission: Photos are stored on secure cloud-hosted servers, and the transmission process is protected by encryption protocols to reduce the risk of data leakage.
Sharing Restrictions: Photos will only be shared when users give explicit instructions(e.g., actively sharing with family members). No photo circulation will be conducted without user authorization.
Data Usage: When users connect to third-party services (including calendar synchronization services), Zicalstar will use the collected information (including third-party account passwords provided by users with authorization) to help users complete identity verification, provide cross-platform services (e.g., calendar data synchronization), and transmit necessary data.
Liability Boundary: Zicalstar’s Privacy Policy does not apply to the data processing behaviors of third parties. Users need to review the third parties’ privacy policies on their own to understand the rules for using their own information (including third-party account passwords) in third-party scenarios. Zicalstar will only use third-party account passwords within the scope of user authorization and will not retain such passwords for purposes other than calendar synchronization.
Collected Content: Basic information generated by devices, such as IP addresses, device names, and operating system versions. User behavior data, such as browser type, access time, page stay duration, and calendar synchronization operation records.
Purposes of Use:
Statistics and Analysis: Record statistical data such as website traffic and user behavior trends (including usage trends of the calendar function) to provide analytical insights.
Experience Optimization: Improve user experience based on data feedback and adjust product supply strategies (e.g., optimize the calendar synchronization process and adapt to commonly used third-party calendar services).
Technical Purposes: Use technologies such as Cookies and web beacons to monitor user usage (including records of calendar function usage) for personalized recommendations and service process optimization (e.g., remembering user calendar synchronization preferences and login status).
User Control Rights: Users can delete stored Cookies or disable this function through browser settings, but this may cause some service functions (e.g., automatic login and memory of calendar synchronization preferences) to fail to work properly.
Zicalstar will only disclose data in specific necessary scenarios and strictly restrict its use. The specific scenarios are as follows:
Disclosure to Third-Party Vendors: Third-party vendors include external shipping companies, payment card processing companies, third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, etc. Order data is shared with external shipping companies to complete order delivery; payment card processing companies are used to collect service fees, and credit card payment information will not be retained; third-party hosting and infrastructure providers are relied on to provide service support. Such vendors can only use the data to fulfill orders or assist in providing services and shall not use it for other unrelated purposes.
Disclosure to Associated Third-Party Services: If users actively connect to third-party services (e.g., online calendars), Zicalstar will provide necessary information to such third parties in accordance with the permission scope set by users, for the purpose of realizing interactive operations across services (e.g., calendar data synchronization). It should be specifically noted that only the calendar data necessary for synchronization will be transmitted here, and the third-party account passwords used by users for calendar synchronization will not be transmitted.
Disclosure to Legal Entities: When required by law, to protect the property safety of Zicalstar or users, prevent fraudulent acts, respond to legitimate legal procedures, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and to protect users or others from personal or property damage, or to establish or exercise Zicalstar’s legal rights, Zicalstar may share necessary information that meets the requirements with relevant legal entities, and such disclosure will only be made under the above statutory or necessary circumstances.
Protective Measures: Establish a security system from three aspects: physical, technical, and organizational. At the physical level, measures are taken to ensure the security of server rooms; at the technical level, methods such as data encryption and access control are adopted (including encryption protection during the transmission of third-party account passwords); at the organizational level, strict implementation of personnel permission management is carried out.
Access Principle: Adhere to the "need-to-know" principle. Only personnel authorized as necessary to complete their work are allowed to access user data, and such personnel do not have regular access rights to third-party account passwords.
Risk Reminder: It is clarified that "absolute security" cannot be achieved in Internet transmission and electronic storage. Users are reminded to protect their personal information on their own (e.g., properly keep account passwords and not disclose third-party account passwords to others).
Applicability Restrictions: The Services are not targeted at minors under the age of 13, and Zicalstar does not intentionally collect personal information from this group (including third-party account passwords used for calendar synchronization).
Guardians’ Rights: If parents or guardians discover that minors have inadvertently provided personal information (including third-party account passwords), they may contact Zicalstar to process the relevant data.
Data Retention: Dual standards of "the time required to provide services" and "the period required to comply with laws/record-keeping requirements" are applied. For example, data related to calendar synchronization is retained until users cancel authorization or the service is terminated, and the data will be processed in accordance with regulations after the expiration; third-party account passwords are not retained and are only used temporarily during synchronization operations.
Core User Rights (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR)
Basic Rights: Access to personal data (including calendar synchronization records),correction of incorrect information, and deletion of redundant/unnecessary data (excluding records required to be retained by law).
Advanced Rights: Restrict data processing (e.g., suspend the use of calendar synchronization data), data portability (request to export data related to calendar synchronization in a common format), and object to specific data processing (e.g., refuse to use for direct marketing).
Exercise of Rights: Rights can be exercised through account settings or email applications; consent can be withdrawn at any time (e.g., withdraw calendar synchronization authorization), and this does not affect the legality of data processing before withdrawal; if users are dissatisfied with the processing results, they may file a complaint with a regulatory authority.
Other Rules:
Necessity of Information: Failure to provide personal data (including third-party account passwords required for calendar synchronization) may result in the inability to use the corresponding services; failure to provide some information only affects specific functions.
Automated Decision-Making: When providing services, Zicalstar will not make "decisions with legal or significant impacts on users" (e.g., refusing services, restricting the calendar synchronization function) through automated methods such as profile analysis.
Storage Location: Personal information (including data related to calendar synchronization, excluding third-party account passwords) is usually stored on servers in the United States.
Cross-Border Access: Staff in other countries may access the data through secure connections when necessary (e.g., responding to support requests, providing technical maintenance for the calendar function); all cross-border transmission activities require users’ explicit consent in advance. If users do not consent, Zicalstar will not conduct cross-border storage or access of data.
Transmission Security: Encryption protocols are adopted during cross-border transmission to ensure the security of data during transmission and comply with the requirements of laws and regulations related to international data transmission.
(inaccordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act - CCPA)
Details of Data Processing: Specify in detail the "collection sources - purposes of use - disclosure recipients" of personal information, covering various types of data such as contact information, financial and transaction information, device information, and data related to calendar synchronization (excluding third-party account passwords).
Exclusive Rights of California Residents:
Right to Know: Request to be informed of the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information (including cross-border transmission of calendar synchronization data).
Right to Operate: Access and delete personal information (including calendar synchronization records); understand financial incentives related to personal information (e.g., compensation policies for data use); withdraw consent authorization for cross-border data transmission.
Right Against Discrimination: Exercising the above rights will not result in discrimination by Zicalstar (e.g., no restriction of services, no increase in fees, no deactivation of the calendar synchronization function for this reason).
Limitation Notes: Some information (such as records required to be retained by law and temporarily used third-party account passwords) may not be deletable; user identity verification is required before processing requests.
"Shine the Light" Law: Residents have the right to obtain information about "personal information shared for third-party direct marketing"; Zicalstar will not conduct such sharing (including calendar synchronization data) without users’ explicit consent.
"Do Not Track" Signals: Due to the lack of unified industry standards, no specific response measures are taken for browser "Do Not Track" signals for the time being.
This Policy may be updated from time to time, and the updated content shall take effect immediately upon publication. If significant changes are involved (such as expansion of the scope of data collection, adjustment of calendar synchronization authorization rules, or changes to cross-border data transmission policies), Zicalstar will notify users through prominent means (such as website pop-ups, email notifications) in accordance with legal requirements, and may require users’ re-consent if necessary (e.g., adjustment of the scope of cross-border data transmission).
Users can send an email to support@zicalstar.com to update or correct personal data and preference settings (e.g., modify the third-party account for calendar synchronization); delete personal data (e.g., calendar synchronization records) and cancel specific authorizations (e.g., withdraw consent for cross-border data transmission, terminate the calendar synchronization function).
Zicalstar may retain some information due to legal obligations or reasonable reasons (e.g., retaining necessary service records); third-party account passwords are not retained, and after users cancel the calendar synchronization authorization, no relevant password data can be queried or deleted.
